Kind! Confident! Courageous! These are the inspiring qualities woven through Samantha M.C. Luck’s growing collection of children’s books. Through the adventures of the inquisitive and determined Sorah, the fun-loving brothers Carter and Cruz, the smart and joyful Misty, and the lovable, cool Lando the Panda, Samantha introduces readers to the vibrant world of the Maseko Kids—a dynamic group that loves to learn, grow and have fun!

As an author of two self-published novels, a contributing writer to an anthology, and now an enthusiastic creator of children’s literature, Samantha’s mission is clear: to inspire young readers (and their adults) to embrace kindness, confidence, and courage. Her debut children’s book, Soar, Sorah, Soar!, introduces the spirited Sorah, while Lando and the Scary Outside brings Lando the Panda and the Maseko brothers to life in a heartwarming tale.

Samantha’s passion for storytelling goes beyond words on a page. She’s dedicated to empowering children and adults alike to follow their dreams and lead with kindness and bravery. When she’s not crafting her next story in her workshop, you’ll likely find Samantha sipping a chai latte at a jazz café or enjoying the great outdoors with her family. A Washington, D.C. native, she now calls Dallas, Texas home, where she lives with her husband, two sons and two bonus daughters.
